This privacy policy relates the Smart Sights service which comprises the website www.smartsights.app, app for Android and Wear OS, the app for iPhone and Apple Watch, (app.smartsights) and any correspondence related to these via contact@smartsights.app or in writing. These are provided by George Denholm as a commercial service.

This page is used to inform users regarding my policies with respect to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if anyone decides to use my service.

If you choose to use my service, then you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. The personal information that I collect is used for providing and improving the service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this privacy policy.

Information Collection and Use

The Smart Sights app uses data as entered by the user for calculation of sight marks. This data is kept on the device hosting the app and is NOT accessible by me.

I will keep records of any correspondence to and from you. This data will be deleted within 5 years of receipt, or earlier if requested by you, unless I need this to operate my service.

The app uses third party services provided by Google and Apple to distribute the app, collect crash data and collect and manage payments.

If you have opted in with Google or Apple to share usage and diagnostic data I may have access to data from your device related to application crashes. This log data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (IP) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my service, the time and date of your use of the service, and other statistics.

Security

I value your trust in providing me your personal information, and will use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Rights
